Core Matching Rule
Color Match Puzzle is built around a single, clever constraint: an item can only be removed from a base that shares its color, but you can move it from any base. That means you cannot simply pick up any piece and place it elsewhere. You must first ensure the piece sits on a matching colored base before you can lift it. This rule turns a simple matching task into a sequence puzzle where temporary moves and foresight matter.
Controls and Moment-to-Moment Play
Using a mouse or touch input, you click and drag items across the screen. The goal is to place every item onto its correct colored base. Because you can move an item from any base, you might temporarily relocate a piece to free up another. Each drag is a small decision: which piece to move, where to park it, and which base to clear next. The game gives immediate visual feedback through bright, cheerful colors, making it easy to see matches and mismatches at a glance.
Progression and Difficulty
As you advance, the number of items and colors increases. Early puzzles might involve a few pieces and two or three colors, while later ones introduce more colors and more items, creating longer chains of dependencies. This gradual escalation keeps the challenge fresh without overwhelming new players. In-game helpers are available when you get stuck, offering a way to continue without frustration.
